List of Prizes

1.PRIZE FOR BEST LECTURE DELIVERD AT IWWA CENTRES (Rs.500/-each)

Best lecture delivered at the respective centre during the year.

2.SHRI BRIJNANDAN SHARMA AWARD(Rs.5000/-)

This award will be given to a young and bright member(talented young engineer)of IWWA Who is bellow 40 years of age to encourage them to participate actively in the work of IWWA and also to do good work in their professional career

3.LINGARAJ DAS MEMORIAL TROPHY (Rs.500/- and revolving shield)

The nominee shall be male / female / couple, who has attained age of 50 years and has contribution in the field of community participation in water supply / sanitation sector for a period not less than 15 years either independently or through any Govt. organization / semi Govt. / NGO / Institution etc. but the trophy will be awarded to the individual not to the Organization / Institute directly.

4.VYANKATESH DAHASAHASRA AWARD (Rs.5000/-)

It has been instituted and it is given to the Engineer for exemplary work done in crisis viz: Disaster Management in Water Supply or Sanitary Sector.

5.IWWA-JALSEVA PURASKAR (Rs.5000/-)

Which is to be given to an individual who has done commendable work towards promoting the sustainability of Water Supply Systems during the last three years.

6. VAG – VALVES (INDIA) PVT. LTD. AWARD (Rs. 5000/-)

Given to the best Water Works Engineer in the field of Water Loss Reduction and Management Distribution Networks every year.

7.D. R. BHISE MEMORIAL SHIELD (Rs.500/- and trophy)

For enrollment of highest number of members during the year.

8.JAL NIRMALATA PURASKAR(Rs.10,000/- and Trophy and Citation)

This prestigious puraskar is intended every year during its Annual Convention, to en Indian National or Institute for the significant contribution to protect, enhance and preserve the quality of water Indian’s resources to be used for human/cattle life.

9..CERTIFICATE OF APPRECIATION (Rs.500/- and Trophy)

This is being given every year to the Centre which is at a distinct from metropolitan areas, having less jurisdiction but performs various activities and programmes to achieve aims objectives of the Association.

10.S. K. SHAH MEMORIAL SHIELD FOR BEST – MAINTAINED CENTRE (Rs.500/- & Revolving Trophy)

Center’s excellent performance during the year.

11. HINDUSTAN DORR – OLIVER PRIZES (These will be awarded in the valedictory function) (Rs.500/-each)
