Dr. Dineshwar Prasad Singh, Former President IWWA A at IIM
It was a privilege to meet *Dr. Dineshwar Prasad Singh, Former President, IWWA India, on 14/07/2026 at IIM Ahmedabad. We had an engaging and productive discussion on the *"One Water Approach and Adaptation"*, with a particular focus on the Bengaluru experience and its potential application to achieving long-term urban water security. Dr. Singh appreciated the integrated One Water framework as a practical approach to strengthening urban water management through the convergence of water supply, wastewater, stormwater, reuse, groundwater, governance, and community participation. We also discussed the importance of knowledge sharing and capacity building to promote sustainable water management practices across Indian cities. During the meeting, it was agreed in principle to organise a series of technical workshops in collaboration with IWWA Centres in cities such as Ahmedabad, Patna, Lucknow, Indore, and other interested locations.
